I've never been so frustrated with any airlines until what happened with my flight with Etihad from London to Kuala Lumpur. We are suppose to land at KL around 2pm tomorrow ( 27th June 2016 ) but now we have to waste 8 hours of our life just because our flight from London to Abu Dhabi got stranded for an hour before departing. We are suppose to land at 1.20am at Abu Dhabi but we only get to land at 2am but our flight to KL is already departing ( 2.20 am flight ). JUST MINUTES WE CAN STILL MAKE IT TO THE FLIGHT. They could have waited for us for a few minutes, since they already made everyone wait for an hour on the flight from London. I never thought I will be disappointed to travel with Etihad. I feel so bad cuz it was my idea to fly with Etihad with my best friend to make sure our bff trip to London will be amazing. ( she actually wanted to flew with MAS or Emirates but I insisted to take Etihad cuz I thought of trying something new. My bad. ) So now not only that I wasted 8 hours of my life, I've also unintentionally wasted 8 hours of her life where we are suppose to have plans and meetings going on. Very good. How can I not be frustrated. Wasting someone else's time is the last thing you want to do and now I need to delay my meetings which also means I'm wasting my clients time. Ive flown with so many airlines and never once encounter situation like this. And what they gave us is a stay at the hotel which I don't see a point cuz we don't even have our luggages. Lesson learnt, this is my first time with Etihad Airways , and it's also my last. Sorry but not sorry.
